Furnace Tune-up: Performed in the fall
- Check gas line from furnace shut off valve to the burners for leaks
- Check blower wheel and motor, lubricate motor and check belt
- Check thermostat operation and calibration
- Check operation of all safety controls
- Check current draw and voltage under full load
- Clean and adjust burners
- Check venting system for proper draw and obstructions
- Visually inspect heat exchanger
- Inspect air filter condition
- Check drain line
- Check fan switch operation and adjust settings
- Test gas pressures
- Inspect, clean, adjust pilot and replace thermocouple
- Test temperature rise
- Service sticker installed
Air Conditioning Tune-up: Performed in the spring
- Clean indoor and outdoor coils

- Inspect wiring and connections, repair if necessary
- Check refrigerant charge
- Test compressor contacts
